Eighteen year old Liddy Clark has already achieved more than most. By age twelve Liddy was performing in musical theatre productions and learning how to play the guitar. With her parents and friends behind her, Liddy entered the music scene naturally; and by age fifteen she began to write her single ‘Painted By Numbers,’ [listen here] a song encouraging all to “love themselves, no matter what.”
A storyteller, Liddy’s songs reflect her own story and play off the perspective of TV show characters who deal with challenges many can relate to. Her sound is modern and soulful, reflecting her Texas roots while appealing to those of today’s generation.
Liddy has performed nationally and more frequently in South Florida, where she has opened for some of country music’s best including Joe Nichols, Jake Owen, and Taylor Hicks. Aside from performing, Liddy has been chosen to represent the Seventeen Social Club in country music by becoming country music’s first ever Seventeen PROstyles Twitter and Instagram Takeover Participant.
Inspired by the young Taylor Swift, Liddy hopes to tour the world and meet new people along the way. She believes that “we cannot become what we want to be by remaining what we are.”
So make sure to watch out for Liddy Clark as she blazes her way into the country music scene. Liddy’s music can be found via Spotify, iTunes, YouTube, and on her website at http://liddyclark.com/ for you all to fall in love with.
