Radio Disney Country has hired female radio host Betsy Spina, from SXM's The Highway, to host the new station including artist interviews and news of new up and coming country artists, including Maddie and Tae, Lucy Hale, Kelsea Ballerini, and more. This station plans to be a family friendly station, featuring some of the greatest songs and stories in music.
"I think it's absolutely brilliant." say Hunter Hayes of Radio Disney Country. "When I heard about it I just lit up with joy... it makes me so happy that there's something like this for us to find these new artists. This is a great place to come and discover something new and for these new artists to have a platform to say what they want to say and be themselves."
